[Released on December 1] Kanosuke HIOKI POT STILL (Hioki Distillery)

On December 1, KOMASA KANOSUKE Distillery released KANOSUKE HIOKI POT STILL. The price is 12,100 yen (tax included). After the Kanosuke distillery obtained a license to produce whisky, the Hioki Distillery, which was originally a shochu distillery, also obtained a license to produce whisky in 2020. This is the first step in the process. It will be added as a new product to the "Kanosuke Series" of whiskies in the future.

[Lottery sales begin on December 20, 2023] Ontake THE FIRST EDITION 2023(Ontake Distillery)

The distillery's first single malt whisky from the Ontake Distillery in Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, owned by Nishi Shuzo, will go on sale by lottery on December 20. The price is 14,300 yen including tax.

Single Malt Nagahama THE THIRD BATCH will be released on December 19, 2023 from the official online store for 11,000 yen (tax included). The key malt for this release is a peat-based base spirit with a smoky yet oriental, heavy and bitter flavor.

Shizuoka Pot Still K Pure Japanese Barley 2023 will be released by Gaiaflow Distilling in late November 2023 for 14,905 yen (tax included). It is made with 100% Japanese barley and non-peat type malt. Bourbon barrels are used for aging.

[November 24, 2023 release] Single Malt Saburomaru III THE EMPRESS (Saburomaru Distillery)

"Single Malt Saburomaru III THE EMPRESS," the fourth in the Single Malt Saburomaru series, will be released by Saburomaru Distillery on November 24, 2023. Limited to 12,000 bottles, 14,850 yen (tax included). A cask strength version will be released at the same time. Limited edition of 1,800 bottles, 19,800 yen (tax included).

[Late November 2023 release] Akkeshi Blended Whisky Shosetsu (Kenten Jitsugyo, Akkeshi Distillery)

Akkeshi Blended Whisky Shosetsu will be released in late November 2023 by Kenten Jitsugyo and Akkeshi Distillery for 13,200 yen (tax included). The aroma is of Potapota-yaki, hot omelet with soy sauce drizzled on it, smoke, citrus-like acidity, and sweetness. The aftertaste is of poivre rosé, orange sauce, and salted lemon.

This is a very valuable single blended Japanese whisky, which also uses original spirit distilled in 1973, the year the distillery started operating, and malt and grain spirit distilled in each generation from the 1970s to the 2010s. The lottery application period is from 24 Oct 12:00 to 14 Nov 15:00. The number of winning bottles is 840.
