The Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition (TWSC) is the only competition of its kind in Japan and one of the largest in Asia. ３．About Institute of Whisky Culture
The Japan Whisky Research Centre is a members-only organization for the promotion of Whisky culture, headed by Whisky critic Mamoru Tsuchiya. Since its establishment in March 2001, the organization has conducted research to learn more about whisky and the general whisky culture in Japan and abroad, and has collected and disseminated information. It has also planned, drafted, and implemented initiatives aimed at fostering whisky lovers and drinkers, and promoting whisky culture in cooperation with those involved in the industry.
