Helios Shuzo is well known for its “Kura” and “Single Malt Kusuda,” but this blended whisky is a blend of malt whisky produced in-house, Scottish malt whisky, and grain whisky aged for three years in Okinawa.

Reki Blended Whisky, introduced by Helios Shuzo, is a special blended whisky where tradition and innovation meet.
The unique malt whisky produced in-house is blended with carefully selected Scottish malt whisky.
In addition, the blend of grain whisky that has been carefully matured for three years gives it an incomparable taste.

The aroma has the gorgeousness and dignity of malt whisky, while the grain whisky gives a powerful and deep taste in the mouth.
The unique aging environment fostered in the tropical island of Okinawa gives this whisky its unique character.

Whether served straight, on the rocks, or in a highball, it will fully demonstrate its true value.

Helios Shuzo, which currently holds six licenses to produce alcoholic beverages, has developed a wide variety of products under the motto of “a sake entertainer rooted in the community” in its pursuit of sake brewing that will last for a hundred years.
The first thing we are particular about in sake brewing is water. In search of abundant nature and clean water, the company found KYODA, Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, where it has been brewing sake since ancient times. Surrounded by the ancient Yanbaru forest, Kusuda has been called the “water city. The rain that falls in the forest soaks deep into the earth, storing minerals in the soil, and is slowly released into the river over a long period of time. Helios Shuzo’s sake is brewed using pure, natural water from the upper reaches of the river that runs behind the Shuzo.
The representative product is ” Kura,” an old Awamori sake, which has been a long-seller for 30 years since its launch in 1991.
The company also sells a whisky called “Kura” with the same name.

1961: Taiyo Shuzo established in Naha City. Produces rum made from Okinawan sugarcane.

1991: Utilizing the barrel-aging technology cultivated in the Western-style alcohol business, the company launched Kura, an oak barrel-aged Awamori.

Blended whisky renewed in 2024. It has a tropical nuance that you can feel in Xudian, and a creamy and spicy holding nuance that you can feel in Awamori.

The highball gives it a more refreshing and fruity taste, and the tropical elements can be felt even more.
