Hyakumangoku Whisky Festa In Kanazawa2023, to be held on October 15, 2023. Details of the event and how to purchase tickets.

The first “Whisky Festival from Kanazawa” was held in July 2017. The second will be held in October 2019, and the third in 2023.
The previous two events were held at Ishikawa Shikou Memorial Park, but in 2023 it will be changed to Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel. The change to an indoor location has made it possible to manage the event regardless of weather conditions.
In addition to whisky, there will be booths for the hottest craft gins, beer, and delicious Kanazawa gourmet foods.

The “tasting glasses” and “neck straps” that are often offered at other festivals do not seem to be available at this year’s festival.

3. Finally

This year, a dizzying array of whisky festivals were held around the country. Some of the festivals had not been held for three or four years. There were also new discoveries such as “I didn’t know such a festival had been held here before!” We can imagine that things will be even more hectic in the next year or so, with the number of new distilleries increasing rapidly over the past three to four years, the return of whisky festivals in various regions, and several distilleries that will be releasing products after reaching three years of whisky maturity.
