This will be the third highball can after the release of “Suntory Premium Highball Hakushu” in June and “Suntory Premium Highball Yamazaki” in August as part of Suntory Whisky’s 100th anniversary celebration. Reservations have already begun. It is expected to be more popular than the previous Highball cans, so be sure to make a reservation.
1. Where can I make a reservation?
The set with Suntory The Premium Malts Master Dream is available for pre-order on Amazon.
2. Suntory Premium Highball Hakushu <Sherry Barrel Original Whisky Blend>
Since the previous Hakushu Highball can was so well received, there are high expectations for the new Sherry Barrel Original Whisky Blend. I think that 660 yen is a lot of money for a can of highball! However, the market price for a can of Hakushu Highball at a restaurant is 1,000 to 1,500 yen (800 yen at the cheapest), so Hakushu lovers will want to have this product. I am looking forward to seeing how much nuance the sherry casks have to offer.
The contents are based on a refreshing smoky base, with accents of original sake matured in sherry casks. It features a sweet and gorgeous aroma. We have blended it so that it can be enjoyed over ice in a glass.
The package depicts the Hakushu Distillery on a green base, which is reminiscent of the “deep forest” color of the Hakushu brand, and the word “Hakushu” is prominently displayed to convey a sense of authenticity. In addition, the phrase “Sherry Barrel Whisky Blended” conveys the product’s unique characteristics.
