On April 16, Tomoyasu Hotei will release his 8th album “GUITARHYTHM Ⅷ”, the latest in the “GUITARHYTHM” series.
To coincide with this memorable occasion, Nagahama Distillery has teamed up with Tomoyasu Hotei again to release a new BEAT EMOTION brand “ROMANTICIST” on May 27 (Tuesday), which has received favorable reviews from various quarters.BEAT EMOTION -ROMANTICIST-” is the result of a long period of tasting between Mr. Hotei and the blender, and is a condensation of the “life” and “grace” of Tomoyasu Hotei, which were expressed in the previous two whiskys “TRIANGLE” and “GRACE” respectively, into one bottle. The result is a bottle that allows you to enjoy the vivid 80’s taste expressed in Hotei’s new album “GUITARHYTHM Ⅷ”, the fresh and vibrant world of BEAT EMOTION, with its fresh Romanism, and the intense beat. Color: shimmering amber
Aroma: Fresh citrusy top notes reminiscent of orange and white peach. Gradually, sweet and gentle accents reminiscent of whipped cream, tarts, and Mont Blanc. You will enjoy the multi-layered aromas that change with time.

2.POP UP bar “Bar BEAT EMOTION”
To celebrate the release of this whisky and the album “GUITARHYTHM VIII” by Tomoyasu Hotei, a POP UP bar “Bar BEAT EMOTION” has opened at ZeroBase Omotesando, Aoyama, Tokyo from April 15 (Tue) to April 21 (Mon). Nagahama Distillery is the smallest distillery in Japan, located in the northern part of Lake Biwa, Shiga Prefecture.
In 1996, Nagahama Roman Beer began producing craft beer, the third in the Kinki region, and after 20 years of craft beer production, Nagahama Distillery began distilling whisky in 2016, operating the Nagahama Distillery on the premises.
